How to make a bootable CD, DVD, Blu-ray or USB flash drive and start a computer from it?
Active@ Boot Disk Creator is designed for preparing a bootable CD, DVD disc or bootable USB Flash drive.
You can use them to start an unbootable PC with a damaged hard drive and recover data, partitions, create a disk image or repair security access issues.
How to prepare a bootable CD DVD or Blu-ray for Windows and DOS:
- First you should insert a blank or re-writable CD or DVD into the disk writer.
- Select CD/DVD/Blu-ray (Picture 1) and click the NEXT button.
- Choose Windows or DOS operating system for startup. Click the NEXT button.
- Add additional files, drivers, startup scripts or change boot settings switching between the tabs.
- The confirmation screen appears. Click Create! This will start ISO file preparation and burning process
How to prepare a bootable USB Flash drive:
- First of all insert a blank USB Flash drive device into any USB port
- Than select USB Flash Drive. (Picture 1). Click the NEXT
- Specify Windows or DOS operating system, press the NEXT
- Add additional files, drivers, startup scripts or change boot settings switching between the tabs.
- The confirmation screen appears. Click Create. A progress bar appears.
- After the ISO has been created and copied onto the USB device, use Eject or Safely Remove Hardware to stop and unplug the device.
